Yonlu
When Vinicius Gageiro Marques aka Yonlu, a 17 year old boy from the city of Porto Alegre in south west Brazil, took his own life in July 2006, he left behind a legacy that he had hidden from his parents. On his computer were hundreds of songs written in his bedroom that had garnered enthusiastic commentaries from internet fans from around the world. Now an album of these songs has been released and we hear from the head of the record label on who Yonlu was and why his songs matter.
