Nicola Meighan chats to Tracy Chevalier, author of international bestseller and much-adapted Girl With A Pearl Earing. Tracy's new book, The Glassmaker, is set across 500 years of Venetian history, during which her heroine Orsola ages just 60 years. Exploring the role of women in the craft of glass-making on the island of Murano, Tracy discusses how she explores the present through the past with her historical novels.

Comic actor, writer and keen fisherman Paul Whitehouse will be previewing his musical adaptation of Only Fools and Horses, coming to Scotland.
