Pete shares some essential tracks from the world of jungle and drum & bass.

The sound originated in the UK rave scene at the start of the 1990s - its roots were in hardcore, rave and house music, mixed with Jamaican sound system culture. But over the past 35 years jungle and drum & bass has evolved, sparked new sub genres and energised dance floors across the globe.

Pete shares some essential tracks in the story of both genres. Plus, he's joined by rising new-gen DNB DJ and former Radio 1 Resident Harriet Jaxxon who provides her genre starter pack - and the legendary Kenny Ken and his stepson Crissy Criss talk us through some essentials for them.

Plus, Pete delves into the rich Radio 1 archive and rewinds a section of DNB chart-toppers Chase & Status' set from the Radio 1 Dance Weekend - Ibiza 2023.
