Episode 3 of 4

Wracked with guilt over Sally’s attack, Cathy sets about convincing the police it was Michael, but quickly discovers he’s been eliminated from their enquiries.

Next morning, Gary is devastated to discover Sally's bloodied body at the back door of their house and she's rushed to hospital. Meanwhile Lena questions where Michael was the previous night after coming home late and drunk with cuts on his hands.
Wracked with guilt over Sally's attack and convinced Michael McAllister is responsible, Cathy sets about convincing the police it was him. At school, Raymie catches Andrew cheating in an exam and he is suspended from school.
It becomes clear that Andrew has lost his phone and worried Lena is rocked to discover it via her 'find my phone' app just yards away from where Sally Bowman was attacked.
Cathy pays Lena another visit and Lena lets slip that Michael returned home late with cuts on his hands. Cathy takes note and tells Lena to be careful. Cathy feeds the new information about Michael to the police, believing she's nailed him.
Jack Sullivan confronts Michael in his office and accuses him of cheating on his daughter with Sally. He presents long lens photos and makes a connection between Michael and the attack, telling him he's been accused of it. Michael denies all knowledge and promises he's not having an affair.
Sally wakes from her coma but doesn't remember anything that happened after her night out and refuses to see Cathy.
On the way to a school dance, Andrew confronts his dad over his murderous past and expresses his worry that Sally could now reveal who attacked her.
After dropping Raymie at the disco, Cathy follows Michael but loses him, whilst Raymie is caught in what appears to be a compromising position with a drunk Andrew - who then does a runner.
A little later someone slips into Sally Bowman's hospital room and finishes her off by smothering her with a pillow.
