This week’s guest is composer and trumpeter Laura Jurd, who among other projects is bandleader of the Mercury Prize-nominated group Dinosaur.

She’s been handing out respect and recognition to the living legends and unsung heroes of jazz each day. Today it’s the turn of woodwind player, and former 'Round Midnight session guest, Shabaka.

Plus, there's music from Leon Foster Thomas, Linda Sikhakhane and Jamie Leeming.
