Celebrating Deep Purple

Deep Purple's Ian Gillan takes over for a special 'This Week In Rock' to celebrate the release of the band's brand new album.

Deep Purple are rock legends. Since their beginnings in the late '60s, the band has amassed over 100 million record sales and created anthems such as 'Smoke On the Water', 'Black Night' and the epic 'Child In Time'. They're still going strong six decades later and show no signs of slowing down, with the release of their brand new album, '=1'.
Frontman Ian Gillan takes over 'This Week In Rock' to celebrate the release, plus there's another chance to hear the Rock God choice of bassist Roger Glover.
