Bankrupt in the US, Mia flees to London, hoping to keep up her high-end appearances. But back home, life has moved on. Mum Chrissy is caring for a teenage girl from her estate, and best friend Jo is getting married.
Unable to admit the shame of her situation, Mia finds herself in limbo. Things improve when a rare modelling job arises, but on arrival, she realises the grim reality of her job prospects.
