NĂl deireadh leis an aistear Ă©achtach cadhcála go fĂłill dár gcĂ©aslĂłirĂ crĂłga, Tessa Fleming agus Irial Ă“ Ceallaigh agus imĂonn siad Ăłn dĂşnfort stairiĂşil ar an DĂşn Riabhach don trĂĂş cĂ©im dá dturas. Tá brĂş fisiciĂşil agus intinne an mhĂłr-dhĂşshláin seo anois le feiceáil, agus tá gĂ©arghá le sos beag gairid sula dtugann siad aghaidh ar an oileán trĂ©igthe iargĂşlta, Inis Trá Tholl. I ndiaidh an eispĂ©iris speisialta saoil seo, tĂ©ann siad ar ais ar an uisce agus cĂ©aslaĂonn siad a fhad le Bá álainn Chionn an Gabha agus leis na haillte mĂłrthaibhseacha ag an tSrĂşibh Brain, sula dtrasnaĂonn siad Loch Feabhail isteach go contae Dhoire, áit ina dtugann siad cuairt ar fhothrach sheaneaglais Naomh Aodhán in Aird Mhic Giollagáin.
The journey of a lifetime continues for inspiring kayakers Tessa Fleming and Irial Ă“ Ceallaigh as they set off from the historic Fort Dunree for the third leg of their journey. The physical and mental strain of this immense challenge is beginning to show, and a brief respite is needed before they make their way to the remote, abandoned island of Inishtrahull.
After this experience, it’s back to the water and a paddle to the stunning Kinnegoe Bay and the cliffs of Inishowen Head, before crossing Lough Foyle into county Derry, where they visit the ruins of Saint Aidan’s Church at Magilligan.
