Donegal Bonus Tracks & Ian Green

Anna pays tribute to Ian Green, founder of Greentrax Records, and shares a final instalment of bonus recordings from Travelling Folk's trip to Donegal ahead of St Patrick's Day.

As the founder and director of Greentrax Records, few have done more than Ian Green to cultivate the fruition of Scottish folk music over the last four decades. Known for his unwavering support for new artists and his keen eye for fresh talent, Ian sadly passed away earlier this week. Anna pays tribute to the great man through his musical legacy in Greentrax Records plus an archive Travelling Folk interview with Ian from 2016.

And ahead of Saint Patrick's Day this weekend, Anna shares a final instalment of bonus recordings from Travelling Folk's trip to Donegal last year - including conversation and song with Sean-nĂłs singer Brian Danny Minnie plus Fidil's Ciaran Ă“ Mhaonaigh on the distinctive Donegal fiddle tradition.
