Martin and Phil hit the road as they head from Oslo to Norway's west coast. Along the way they marvel at some of the famous scenic landscapes Norway is famous for with a stop off in the snowy mountains.

After a long drive and a swift change into the Norwegian national dress - the bunad - Martin and Phil are feeling right at home in Bergen. Invited by local James, they proudly march in Norway鈥檚 national day parade and celebrate with the Bergen Scottish Society.

The next day finds Martin tired and emotional from the previous day鈥檚 exploits, and a bracing day at sea is just what鈥檚 needed to clear his hangover. Phil and Martin become deck hands to fishermen Morten Glesnes and his son Rasmus, who take them out into the North Sea to haul in a catch of cod and pollock. The boys are rewarded at the end of the day with a plate of fish and chips at the Glesnes family鈥檚 island restaurant.

Next up, the lads take a paddle at Lake Seljord, where they will be hoping for a sighting of Nessie鈥檚 elusive cousin, Selma the Sea Serpent, who is rumoured to be lurking deep in these waters. They end with a taste of the logging life as they get to play lumberjacks with Lars and Sigurd in the dense forest of Vestland. Here, they discover first hand how Norway鈥檚 timber industry is generating big business, while at the same time the forests are getting denser and taller.
