Caoimhe Ní Chathail

Lá Fhéile Vailintín ag druidim linn, Turas Úr le cuairt ar dhruideanna Dhroichead Albert.

Valentine’s Day approaches, Starling murmuration at Albert Bridge.

Tá an grá san aer agus Lá ’le Vailintín ag druidim linn! Tá craic agus comhrá ag Caoimhe lena painéal – Rosie Nic an Fhailigh, Seán Ó Baoill agus Conor Torbóid – mar gheall ar chúrsaí grá. Cluinimid fosta ó Chonor, atá ina Eagarthóir ar NÓS, faoi na Gradaim NÓS 2024 a thagann go Béal Feirste den chéad uair riamh agus Blas i lár an aonaigh leis na buaiceanna a thaifeadadh duit! Fosta, sa dara heagrán den mhionsraith Turas Úr, tugann Antaine Mac Aoidh cuairt ar Dhroichead Albert le haiséirí ealta na ndruideanna a fheiceáil, ealta a bhí i mbaol go dtí le déanaí de bharr thruailliú solais sa cheantar.

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and Caoimhe takes the opportunity to have the craic on all things love-related with her panel Rosie Nic an Fhailigh, Seán Ó Baoill and Conor Torbóid. And Conor, who is also Editor of NÓS Magazine, has the lowdown on this year’s Gradaim NÓS music awards. The event comes to Belfast for the first time, and Blas will be there to capture the occasion for you. Plus, in the second edition of our mini-series Turas Úr, Antaine Mac Aoidh visits Albert Bridge to witness the resurrection of the starling murmuration which had until recently been endangered by light pollution in the area.
