Oboist Nicholas Daniel returns to the Wigmore Hall and to Radio 3 with a programme including contemporary works and one or two earlier rarities. Amongst these is a sonata written by the Afro-French composer Joseph Bologne, whose life moved from aristocratic salons to revolutionary regiments, and a reworking of Bologne鈥檚 piece by the contemporary composer Althea Talbot-Howard.
