A Holyrood committee yesterday began its inquiry into the delay in fully dualling the A9 between Inverness and Perth.
In 2011, the Scottish Government committed to dualling 80-miles of the A9 between Perth and Inverness by 2025, at a cost of £3bn.
So far, only two of 11 sections have been completed, with the Scottish Government announcing in February that the original completion date was "unachievable". A revised timeline is anticipated this Autumn.
