Episode 6 of 23

See Hear heads to Norfolk Deaf Festival, Sarah Scott gives tips on how deaf people can access yoga, and we pay a tribute to Sinead O’Connor, who famously signed one of her songs.

This month, we meet Lara Scott, a Norfolk local who takes us around Norfolk Deaf Festival - an annual event that brings the local deaf community together. The theme this year is humour; Norfolk has never had so many comedians in the area. Robotica have also been invited to showcase their latest AI technology which could potentially help with rural isolation.

Back in the studio, deaf yoga teacher Sarah Scott gets Yvonne and Julian on their feet for some wellness techniques. She also gives tips on how deaf people can access their local yoga class.

We also head to the heart of the Lake District with Lucy Clark. She meets deaf entrepreneur Jo Dennison, whose latest enterprise not only provides sustainable energy to her own home, but also to 120-140 homes in her local area.

We end the programme with a tribute to Sinead O’Connor, who passed away recently. We remember her for being one of the first hearing artists to produce a signed song, which became a worldwide phenomenon.
