Nicola Meighan presents from the heart of the Edinburgh Festival in front of a live audience

Nicola Meighan presents from the heart of the Edinburgh Festival, with guests including Jessie Cave, Rachel Parris, Andrew O'Hagan, Cora Bissett, The Countess of Fife and more.

Nicola Meighan presents our last audience shows for the week at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe live from Dynamic Earth and will be joined by a host of comedians and performers including:

Cora Bissett who is back with her smash-hit, gig-theatre show, charting the true story of Cora Bissett's rollercoaster journey from 90s indie-kid to wised-up woman. Touring with Radiohead, partying with Blur, she was living the dream. Until she wasn't. We will also hear about her new short film being show and the Edinburgh International Film Festival.

You might know celebrity chef Levi Roots for sharing his kitchen secrets, and now this Edinburgh festival he has conceived a show called ‘Sound Clash: Death in the Arena’ which is an urban love story set in a dystopian world of dancehall, where MCs, not MPs, rule the nation!

Three-time Booker-nominated author Andrew O'Hagan is bringing his first ever play to the festival; a cautionary tale of literary life, sprinkled with humour, on one of America’s greatest authors, Truman Capote. Jacob Storms is also on the sofa as he shares his take on another American great - Tennessee Williams.

TV Comedy Favourites Jessie Cave and Rachel Parris are on the sofa chatting about their latest comedy offerings to the festival. And from across the pond, American Sitcom stars Larry Owens and Chris Grace (tbc) swap the school halls of Abbot Elementary and supermarket aisles of Superstore for the festival stage.

Olivier Award-winning writer Isobel McArthur also joins the sofa as she shares all her latest heart-filling ensemble comedy with the world premiere of The Grand Old Opera House Hotel, a story of art bringing us together in hopeless circumstance, to the tune of some of the most popular opera songs ever written.

There is also lots of great live music from The Countess of Fife, Northern Lights, the Night Owl Band, and Tones: Hip Hop Opera.
