Survivors, Barbie’s Sister and Sean Nós Dancing

Claire Graham chats to survivors, Barbie’s sister, sean nós dancers, and Revue play live in the studio.

Claire Graham is joined in studio by Clodagh Dunlop who had a brainstem stroke when she was just 35-years-old. She lived with locked-in syndrome for three months before beginning her recovery, but eight years later has returned to work & is an ambassador for the Chest, Heart & Stroke charity. We also hear from teenager Rosie who has been living with long-covid. Rosie’s family say the condition has changed all of their lives.
We look ahead to Belfast Tradfest to find out what sean nós dancing is all about, and speak to Clodagh Coughlan, whose sister Nicola is starring in the new Barbie movie. Ireland’s World Cup campaign started with a loss, but staying competitive throughout the opening game with hosts Australia was encouraging for the Girls In Green. Claire speaks to the team at a club in Donegal where two of the team started their careers.
Emma & Marty of Revue are live in studio to play a track and chat about their upcoming gig, tour in France & album release.
