One villager finds themselves out of the frying pan and into the fire, and Lynda attempts to keep order.

When Eddie installs a water feature at Ambridge Hall, Lynda asks for a demonstration before he leaves. Eddie turns it on and water spurts out everywhere, including in Lynda’s face! Fallon and Joy turn up for the fete committee meeting and Lynda hands out roles to them. Eddie gate-crashes the meeting, pointing out it looks like they could do with more members. When Lynda asks what skills he brings, Eddie mentions his successful Ferrety Fun stall at Lower Loxley’s Late Mayfest. Joy side-steps this and suggests he could help with recruitment. Lynda agrees that Eddie can become a fete committee member.

Helen and Lee tensely drive to the solicitors for their phone meeting with Rob and his solicitor. Helen asks Lee not to get provoked again and Lee worries that his scuffle with Rob might’ve caused Rob’s seizure. After the meeting they’re in shock; Rob’s solicitor claims they’re not fit to be Jack’s parents and is going to tell the court that Lee is a violent thug. He’s also going to accuse Helen of witness intimidation. Lee points out that because they left so quickly, they didn’t get a chance to talk about the Community Resolution Order and whether it caused Rob’s seizure. Helen snaps back that the meeting was about Rob letting her know the gloves are off. And she walked straight into it. All they can do now is make sure Rob doesn’t get access to Jack. They’re interrupted by Miles ringing. Rob’s dropping everything, but there’s one condition – Rob wants to talk to Lee, face-to-face.
