A woman is knocked over in a hit-and-run as she crossed the road using a zebra crossing. This programme looks at how specialist techniques are now being used to extract data from a vehicle’s on-board computer that can tell police who was in the vehicle, where it was at any given time and how it was being driven. We also see how technology is being deployed to combat the rise in shoplifting.
