Scotland's children's commissioner said the former FM has 'absolutely failed' to deliver for young people. What is the reality of Scotland’s children growing up in poverty?

The outgoing Children's Commissioner says the Scottish Government has so far "absolutely" failed to open up opportunities for every child. Bruce Adamson says he's "hugely concerned that actions aren't following the words" on support for young people to get them out of poverty.

The Scottish government said it was committed to making Scotland the "best place in the world" for young people.
