PHONE-IN

Today we’re asking how safe do you feel on public transport.
This afternoon in Holyrood, the transport minister Jenny Gilruth will lead a debate on Women and Girls’ Safety on Public Transport. She'll also introduce research that she commissioned on the subject soon after taking office just over a year ago. The British Transport Police says reports of sexual harassment and sexual offences have risen by 175% since before the pandemic.
What’s been your experience? Would you intervene to stop inappropriate behaviour?
