MOBO award winning Christian rapper Guvna B talks about fatherhood.

In this personal reflection on the opening words of The Lord's Prayer, 'Our Father', Guvna B expressed the pain of losing his own father, the challenge of life as a new father and the fathering role God holds for him in his life. This is about Guvna B鈥檚 journey of faith, his sense of belonging but also the succession of generations, each with its own attitudes and needs. He reflects on how society views fatherhood and how a more fathering attitude could help to heal some of the wounds we find in our culture today.

Throughout the Gospels the father/son relationship is evident, it is familial and intimate. Guvna B explains how this brings comfort in times of loss, encouragement in times of fear and provides inspiration in his music and in his relationship with his own son.

This is a reflection on fatherhood. The challenges and the joys. It's a personal account of what it means to be a dad; the highs, the lows, the sacrifice.
