After three festivals, T in the Park gets bigger – much bigger – as it makes the move to its spiritual home of Balado in Perth & Kinross. With the previous site far too small, a shift across Scotland to the East Coast brings with it space for many more thousands of people. For three days each year, the festival becomes the 5th biggest settlement in Scotland, dwarfing the nearby market town of Kinross. With more campers comes more chaos, more sliding around in the mud, and way more pairs of feet than soggy fields can cope with. But once again, Michael Eavis is there with advice – farmer to farmer this time – to keep T in the Park on track.
