Q – We moved to a new house last year, and the previous owner had planted a Magnolia which needed pruning. It bloomed well, but by the summer the leaves look sickly and yellow. I think it was caused by our alkaline soil. Should I add sequestrene, or is there another method of helping it? Could the panel suggest a replacement plant if I should just remove it?
