Sarah Moore transforms a vintage sewing box, carpenter Bruce Faulseit updates a tired desk, and upholsterer Leigh-Anne Treadwell gives a retro two-seater sofa a stylish overhaul.

At Woking Recycling Centre in Surrey, Sarah Moore is on the lookout for four items she can salvage, spruce up and sell on for a profit. To transform her junk gems, Sarah enlists the help of carpenter Bruce Faulseit to update a tired desk, while upholsterer Leigh-Anne Treadwell has the challenge of giving a retro two-seater sofa a stylish overhaul. Upholsterer Simion Hawtin-Smith has the challenge of transforming two unloved chairs into something special, while a vintage sewing box gets Sarah’s creative cogs turning. But will she succeed in finding new homes for all four upcycled items?
