Sonya speaks to the CEO of Waqfinity, Akmal Saleem.

Akmal’s hustle began back in university, when he began selling kebabs from his dorm to hungry students after a night out. Since then, he's launched several businesses over the years and is now the CEO of Islamic banking and asset management app Waqfinity.

He shares his struggles and learnings from setting up his businesses over the years, the beauty of failure and how working from the heart is essential to nailing a business idea.

This week’s 60 Second Career comes from Jessica Bruno. She used to be a vocal coach and kids party organiser and through those roles she realised how powerful social media was through promoting her hustles and decided she could make a career out of it!

She’s now content marketing strategist for small businesses and brands to help push their products and services through social media.
