Detente by Cassiah Joski-Jethi
The reunion between a father with a hidden past and his daughter. The father, Malcolm, a business executive turned politician who didn't know until recently that his daughter existed, and the daughter, Violet, a young student who was always told that her father chose to leave her.

Two elephants with outrageous French accents bicker about how to cross an unexpected ocean. Where did the water come from? Nearby, a young family find themselves the last remaining humans on Earth. With the buildings around them on the brink of collapse, they must figure out how to survive.
