Phone In: Obesity is now a bigger cause of deaths in Scotland than smoking according to a new study by the University of Glasgow. The news comes as it’s being claimed an appetite suppressant drug could mark 'new era' in tackling the condition. A weekly injection of semaglutide has led to some people losing more than a fifth of their body weight, a major international trial shows.
