An investigation by You & Yours has found fake covid test certificates being sold online for travel. Earlier this week Europol, the European Police Agency, warned that criminal gangs were taking advantage of the new test requirements and making profits from selling counterfeits. This programme has spoken to ordinary people faking certificates themselves - it's prompted concerns that the current system is too open to abuse. We'll hear from someone who chose to travel to another country using a fake test, and from someone who admits to selling them.
There's been a lot of reconnecting with Nature this last year. Some people are even buying their own slice of it. Sales of woodland have grown and prices have risen by around 50%. There are websites where you can browse woodland for sale, just like you can browse houses. We'll hear from someone who bought a patch of woodland in North Yorkshire.
More time spent at home prompted a third of us to upgrade our broadband last year. Most of us - 96% - can now get speeds of around 30 megabits a second, but there are still around 190,000 homes in the UK that can't get decent speeds. The fastest broadband is fibre cables from the cabinet, right into your home. The government had promised we'd all have it by 2025 - but they recently reduced that target to 85% of the population. We'll be speaking to Matt Warman MP, Minister for Digital Infrastructure, about their plans to get even the most rural areas online.
