Andi Oliver hosts as the top three chefs from yesterday’s dessert and petit four rounds compete for the final courses of a special Christmas feast for some of the key workers who were the heroes of the pandemic.
Ahead for the judges are two rounds of fantastic festive dishes, with everything from the deep earthy tastes of root vegetable mince pies to the technical virtuosity of blown-sugar snow globes.
Actor and comedian Kerry Godliman and regular judges Matthew Fort and Oliver Peyton are joined this week by special guest judge Beverly Knight MBE. Both Beverly’s mother and brother were taken to hospital after contracting coronavirus, and she has also been active in raising over £30,000 for musical theatre performers unable to work because of the pandemic.
