Scottish music maker Rachel Newton talks about her new album.

Rachel was previously named Musician Of The Year at the ±«Óãtv Radio 2 Folk Awards. Besides her solo work, she's a member of bands The Shee and The Furrow Collective, and part of the Lost Words: Spell Songs project.

To The Awe is Rachel's fifth solo album and was recorded during the spring-summer lockdown of 2020. Representing the arc of a woman's life, it blends old poems and folk ballads with electronic and acoustic sounds.
