Episode 2
Ben and Kate compete to charm Rio the grumpy cockatoo, and there is an anxious wait as Yuki the tiger goes under the knife. Meanwhile, Jean treats the rhinos to a spa.
The keepers are alarmed to discover a large open wound under tiger Yuki’s chin. Despite the high risk involved in sedating a tiger, they have no choice but to operate. When things don’t go according to plan, the keepers and vets are faced with a second painful decision.
Ben and Rio the cockatoo have never really hit it off, so Kate tries her hand at charming one of the park’s most difficult but charismatic animals. The staff at the park are constantly inventing fresh ways to keep the animals entertained, and today it’s the turn of the white rhinos to try something new. Jean Johansson lays on some detoxing charcoal logs at a special rhino spa.
