Jessie Ware, George The Poet, and Edinburgh Zoo

Nicola Meighan chats with pop sensation Jessie Ware about her new album. Plus George The Poet and Edinburgh Zoo.

Nicola speaks to BRIT and Mercury Prize-nominated artist JESSIE WARE about the upcoming release of her fourth studio album WHAT’S YOUR PLEASURE? at the end of June , and her new single from the album SAVE A KISS.

There are currently 27 classic RKO films on the ±«Óătv iPlayer, but if only you knew where to start! Thankfully, helping us sort through the good, the bad and the downright brilliant is our celluloid guide, journalist and film lover ALISON KERR.

This weekend was meant to be The Borders Book Festival. Sadly the physical festival has been cancelled, but that isn’t stopping the team bringing us all the great authors we would have seen, into our living room no less! Borders Book Festival Online Festival director Alistair Moffat and author and Laureate for Irish Fiction, Sebastian Barry join Nicola.

We get another chance to hear Nicola speaking to spoken word artist George The Poet about his podcast Have Your Heard George's Podcast. It’s a beautiful and thought provoking masterpiece in which George explores issues close to him through a mix of music, drama, and social commentary.

We’ve probably all asked ourselves when in an art gallery or seeing on the news that a piece of art has sold for an astronomical amount of money, “WHY?!” and that’s just one question the public has been asking about art for years. Well, The National Galleries of Scotland has listened and made a new six-part video series to hopefully answer these age old questions. We thought we’d give them a test run and have asked geography teacher, Craig Masson to watch them and tell us what he thought!

This Friday’s Make a Difference returns to Edinburgh Zoo to hear about the animal cams they’d set up so people could still enjoy observing their favourite animals through live camera feeds.
