Anna Macleod chats with two new guests about their favourite books. Katharina Siebert from Italy and retired lecturer Christina Walker, who lives in Aberdeen, reveal their favourite books.

Both guests have chosen books which raise interesting points of discussion. Katharina is captivated by Hugo Hamilton's memoir, The Speckled People, which is set in Ireland. Her second choice is a novel by the best-selling Japanese author Sayaka Murata and is called Convenience Store Woman.

Retired lecturer Christina Walker has chosen two unique books - a candid autobiography by Michelle Obama called Myself, and her second novel The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. She describes why she likes the book so much and the narrative which derives from an invented book club on the island of Guernsey during the Second World War.

The final section in the programme allows Katherina and Christina to choose their favourite book out of the four discussed.
