More seasonal workers are expected to come to the UK following the relaxation of quarantine rules.
More seasonal workers are expected to come to the UK following the relaxation of quarantine rules. Most travellers coming into the country will have to isolate for 14 days, but people coming to work on farms will be exempt.
Students and staff have begun a campaign to save Cumbria’s agricultural college. The closure of Newton Rigg college near Penrith was announced last week - subject to consultations with staff and unions it will shut next July.
