Bill Nighy, film reviews and a live session from Beans on Toast

Natasha Raskin Sharp with film reviews, including the new version of Emma, starring Anya Taylor-Joy. She talks to Bill Nighy who plays Mr Woodhouse in the film.

Thursday is film review day so Natasha plus reviewers will be discussing three films out this weekend: animation Sonic the Hedgehog, documentary Eminent Monsters and the new version of Jane Austen’s Emma, starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Bill Nighy. Natasha will also be talking with Bill Nighy about his role in the film as Emma’s father, Mr Woodhouse.

We’ll hear about Marchmont House, a Palladian mansion in the Borders which is aiming to become a new centre for creativity by encouraging a 21st century Arts and Crafts movement through a carefully curated programme of events.

And there’ll be live music from Beans on Toast, aka cult singer-songwriter Jay McAlistair, who’ll be talking about his new album The Inevitable Train Wreck.
