A consortium of 500 organisations is calling for antibiotic use on UK farms to be severely restricted by law. They want UK supermarkets to insist none of their suppliers use antibiotics on groups of animals to prevent disease.
The new Fisheries Bill is being introduced to Parliament today. The government promises it will create powers to ensure a profitable future for UK fishermen, post Brexit, and that they'll have a fairer share of 'fishing opportunities'.
