Ramsay travels to Perthshire to bungee jump off the Garry bridge at Killiecrankie. Ramsay a’ dol gu sgìre Pheairt far an leum e far drochaid Gharaidh aig Coille Chneagaidh.

Escaping the rat race is Ramsay MacMahon’s secret to surviving the working week. In his guide to the ultimate weekend away, he travels to Perthshire for a weekend of high-octane pursuits.

Ramsay has chosen this week’s destination for one particular reason – a bungee jump. He sets himself the challenge of jumping off the Garry bridge at Killiecrankie from 130ft and finds himself, for once, lost for words.

Adrenaline pumping, he heads to loch Tay in search of more gentle pursuits. He visits a reconstruction of an Iron Age crannog and stays in a lochside chalet complete with hot tub to calm the nerves. A glutton for punishment though, Ramsay puts himself through another physical challenge the next day, cycling through the Ben Lawers National Nature Reserve to Glen Lyon on one of Scotland’s highest mountain roads.

Sann le teicheadh a’ gleadhraich a bhaile a tha Ramsay MacMahon a’ faighinn thairis air seachdain obrach. Agus a chomhairle airson fìor dheagh dheireadh sheachdain? Dà latha ann an siorrachd Pheairt làn chur-seachadan a chuireas a chridhe gu plosgadh.

Thagh e a cheann-uidhe air aon adhbhar – gum faigheadh e cothrom leum far drochaid Gharaidh aig Coille Chneagaidh, còrr is sia fichead troigh os cionn na h-aibhne: anail na uchd is comas labhairt caillte.

Gun mionaid fois tha e a’ falbh gu Loch Tatha far a bheil latha nas socraiche roimhe – cuairt gu ùrachadh air crannog – taigh-locha bho Linn an Iarainn – ach tha àite fuirich nas comhfhurtaile a’ feitheamh air fhèin.
Chan eil fois ann dha an ath latha ged tha, ach cuairt air fear dhe na rothaidean is àirde a-measg nam beann, tro Thèarmann Nàdair Nàiseanta Beinn Labhair gu Gleann Lìomhann.
