This week, trio Lady Maisery join Jimmy Aldridge and Sid Goldsmith to perform seasonal songs.
The collaboration has generated a Christmas album called Awake Arise, and the acts are touring together throughout December.
Lady Maisery are Hazel Askew, Hannah James and Rowan Rheingans. Formed in 2011, they have released three albums and been nominated for multiple ±«Óãtv Radio 2 Folk Awards between them.
Jimmy Aldridge and Sid Goldsmith hail from Norfolk, and based in Wales. Their third album, Many a Thousand, earned them praise including a Radio 2 Folk Awards nomination for Best Traditional Track.
Hazel, Hannah, Rowan, Jimmy and Sid join Mark in the Salford studio to sing warming songs of winter.
