Glenda Jackson on new drama Elizabeth is Missing, plus our regular film reviews and an insight into the life of a pantomime star.
Film review day and we’ll be discussing two films written by actors: Motherless Brooklyn, a neo-noir crime film written, produced and directed by Edward Norton, and Honey Boy, a drama with a screenplay by Shia LaBeouf, based on his childhood and his relationship with his father. Plus drama Ordinary Love, starring Lesley Manville and Liam Neeson.
Elizabeth is Missing: Grant will be talking to star Glenda Jackson, and writer Andrea Gibb who adapted the Emma Healey’s bestselling thriller for the ±«Óãtv.
And we get into pantomime mode as we go behind the scenes in Edinburgh at the Royal Lyceum’s Christmas production of A Christmas Carol.
Plus Grant hosts his fellow Scottish panto stars Jordan Young, Kim Shepherd, Alan McHugh and James McAnerney for a discussion about costumes, staying healthy, learning lines and enjoying the ride: the actor’s experience of starring in panto for 6 weeks every year.
