David Dimbleby presents live coverage of the Remembrance Sunday commemorations from the Cenotaph in Whitehall.

Her Majesty the Queen will watch proceedings from the balcony of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office as the Prince of Wales and other members of the royal family, the prime minister and other leading politicians, military leaders and representatives from many of the world's religions and the Commonwealth gather in Westminster.

The two-minute silence at 11 o’clock is followed by the traditional wreath-laying ceremony at the foot of the Cenotaph, the National Service of Remembrance and the march past of 10,000 veterans to commemorate all those who died serving their country.

On Horse Guards Parade, Sophie Raworth will hear some of the remarkable stories of courage and sacrifice from those taking part.
