Paul Gambaccini welcomes three amateur music lovers to MediaCityUK in Salford, where their knowledge will be put to the test in the latest heat of the eclectic quiz. Verdi operas, the Halle Orchestra and a big band arrangement of a song by Genesis are just some of the topics that crop up this week. The winner today will win through to the semi-finals later in the series and stand a real chance of lifting the trophy as the 33rd ±«Óãtv Counterpoint champion.
