Triple European champion Dina Asher-Smith is in action as the best of Britain look to book their spots on the plane to Qatar for September’s World Championships.

Asher-Smith won three European titles last summer, but it is a global crown that she covets this year. Asher-Smith is planning on attempting the 100-200m sprint double in Doha but the first step is by qualifying at the British Championships over 200m.

Another podium contender in Qatar is double European indoor champion Laura Muir – she is set to race the 1500m.
