It's film review day today and we’ll be discussing new releases Mrs Lowry & Son, starring Timothy Spall as artist L.S Lowry and Vanessa Redgrave as his mother, addiction drama A Million Little Pieces, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson and directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, and The Souvenir, the new film from Joanna Hogg, based on her time as a film student in London in the 1980s.

Author of Apple Tree Yard Louise Doughty discusses Platform Seven, her new thriller.
