The Doll Factory, a play about sheds and a football anthem for Scotland's Women

Elizabeth Macneal’s highly anticipated debut novel The Doll Factory is published by Picador this week. Set in Victorian London it’s a story of love, art and obsession. The author discusses the male gaze, the pre-Raphaelites and using historical fiction to highlight how many problems of the 1850s still exist today.
