Single mum Lisa and her ten-year-old daughter Jessica found life in the UK a bit of a struggle. A childcare centre manager, Lisa was often forced to rely on financial support from her father to keep their heads above water, and the realisation she couldn't provide Jessica with the lifestyle she thinks she deserves was getting her down.
Desperate to turn things around and secure a happier, brighter future for her daughter, Lisa believed their situation could be greatly improved by moving almost 10,000 miles away, to Australia. But having never set foot in the country before, would the reality of life on Australia's gold coast prove to be just what they need?
