Vulnerable people in care, Shopping in shipping containers, Charity fundraising

Controversy over legislation affecting people with dementia and learning disabilities. The shops and cafes in shipping containers. The charities not paying the regulator's levy.

The Care Minister, Caroline Dineage, speaks to You and Yours about new legislation going through Parliament and how it will affect the lives of hundreds of thousands of vulnerable people. A group of charities and campaigners say the Mental Capacity (Amendment) Bill will seriously undermine the rights of people with dementia or learning disabilities who are confined to hospitals or care homes for their own safety. We hear from one of the organisations that's been lobbying for changes to the Bill, and the relative of a care home resident about why they believe the Government has got these reforms wrong.

We look at what's behind the new spate of shops and cafes – in shipping containers – popping up in UK towns and cities. Research by You and Yours has found that within the past three years more than a dozen of these developments have opened in towns and cities in Britain. Our reporter, Jon Douglas, goes to Newcastle upon Tyne to find out why they've become so popular.

We investigate why hundreds of charities haven't paid a levy to fund the industry's Fundraising Regulator. The regulator was set up in 2016 after the death of the poppy seller Olive Cooke. The big charities were accused of inundating vulnerable people with letters and pestering donors to give more money.
We speak to Gerald Oppenheim, the Chief Executive of the Fundraising Regulator, and Daniel Ferrell-Schweppenstedde from the Directory of Social Change which provides training and resources for charities.
