Sue Nelson has written a book, Wally Funk's Race for Space. It tells the story of Mary Wallace 'Wally' Funk, an American aviator who passed rigorous tests to become one of the Mercury 13 as part of the Women in Space Program. Nearly 60 years later Wally is still chasing her dream to go into space.

Award-winning director Marianne Elliott, best known for War Horse and Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, joins Jane to discuss her latest production, Stephen Sondheim's musical comedy, Company. She explains how she managed to convince Sondheim to let her make the the main character a woman.
