Craig Revel Horwood at the Snape Proms

Craig Revel Horwood presents fab-u-lous music from the worlds of stage and screen recorded at the Snape Proms.

Another chance to hear Craig Revel Horwood present fab-u-lous music from the worlds of stage and screen in a concert recorded at the Snape Proms.

He may be known as Strictly's Mr Nasty but Craig's role as a Strictly Come Dancing judge is just a tiny part of the contribution he has made to the world of dance and musical theatre over the last 30 years. He's worked as a performer, a choreographer and as director on the likes of Miss Saigon, Martin Guerre, Fiddler on the Roof, Cats, Spend, Spend, Spend, Copacabana, Chess, Calamity Jane, Crazy for You, South Pacific, My One and Only, Sister Act and Sunset Boulevard....the list goes on. He also appeared as Lavish - a trumpet playing, tap dancing drag act with a penchant for belting out Whitney Houston songs.

On stage one of his recent roles was a very scary Miss Hannigan in Annie and he is the most sought after evil wicked queen come the panto season. On film his work can be seen in the closing moments of the hit children's film Paddington 2 - he choreographed the Hollywood dance routine for the imprisoned villain Phoenix Buchanan - as played by Hugh Grant. Craig starred as another villain, Emmanuel Cavendish - a flamboyant film director up to no good - in the fourth instalment of the festive franchise - Nativity Rocks.

Tonight he reflects on his life upon the wicked stage alongside the ±«Óãtv Concert Orchestra conducted by Alfonso Casado Trigo with special singing guests Scott Davies, Katie Hall, Geromino Rauch and Celinde Schoenmaker. The programme marks the 100th anniversaries of Leonard Bernstein and Alan Jay Lerner as well as paying tribute to the late Dame Gillian Lynne.

No di-sah-sters dahling. It’s going to be a-ma-zing!
