Crown lawyers and the police defend the decision to bring rape charges against two rugby players after they're found not guilty.

After 42 days, the trial of Ulster and Ireland rugby players Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding concluded yesterday with them being found not guilty of rape. Two of their friends, Rory Harrison and Blane McIlroy, were also cleared of charges in connection with the alleged incident at Mr Jackson's house in 2016. Solicitor Joe McVeigh, representing Paddy Jackson, told the media yesterday that it's their belief that the investigation was flawed.
