Brian's on the offensive as he attempts to win over the BL Board members before Martyn Gibbson does. He meets with Annabelle to discuss Friday's upcoming vote on who should chair the Board, but things don't go the way he'd hoped.

Peggy, Jill and Christine go for afternoon tea at Grey Gables where Ian's put cr锚pes on the menu for Shrove Tuesday. Peggy and Christine are surprised to hear that Jill is planning on helping with Pip's baby, surely she's changed enough nappies for a lifetime?

Later, when it comes to paying for their cr锚pes Peggy and Christine tussle over the bill when finally Christine goes up to the bar to pay. Peggy was only thinking of all the money that Christine lost in Matt's scam.

After telling Jennifer that Brian's not sure he can rely on Justin to vote for him she takes the initiative to go and speak with Justin herself. She implores him not to vote Brian off the board, that would be as good as saying he's guilty but Justin won't agree to anything.
Later, Brian berates Justin, he's convinced that he's the one making inroads to be the new BL chair but when Justin tells him he has no desire to take up yet another position Brian won't let up, if Justin's not going for the chair then who is?
